Cops working to bring murder suspect in

The St Catherine North police say they are working with new information as they work to lay charges against a woman who is believed to be linked to several murders, shootings and robberies in the parish.

A source from the division told THE WEEKEND STAR that the police are working on several leads and the woman may soon be held and charged.

The woman, who reportedly hails from St John's Road in the parish, was recently held during a police/military operation along with 28 other persons, but was reportedly released after witnesses in the alleged incidents failed to turn up for identification parades.

The source, however, claimed that the police have received new information and are working towards slapping the woman with official charges.

The name of the woman is being withheld pending further investigations.
