A woman was killed and two men injured following a motor vehicle accident on the Bull Point main road, Ocho Rios, St Ann, yesterday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Kerry-Ann Williams, a cashier of Hazard district in St Mary, while injured are 22-year-old Zodeer Mitchell of a St Mary address and 34-year-old Stennett Thomas, a security guard of Steer Town in St Ann.

Reports received are that about 12 a.m., Thomas was driving a Toyota Corolla motor car, with Williams and Mitchell aboard, towards St Ann's Bay. On reaching a section of the roadway, he reportedly overtook a car, lost control of his vehicle, which hit an embankment and overturned. Williams died on the spot. Thomas and Mitchell were taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital where they were admitted in serious but stable condition.

The Ocho Rios Police are investigating.
