Twenty-nine-year-old Shaun Ramchandani and his 28-year-old wife, Poonam, both of Turtle Towers, Ocho Rios in St Ann, died as a result of injuries they sustained in a car crash on the Braco main road in Trelawny on Sunday night.

Reports are that about 10 p.m., Ramchandani was driving a black Toyota Corolla motor car along the Braco main road with his wife aboard.

On reaching a section of the roadway, he lost control of the vehicle which overturned. The couple sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot. The police were summoned, the scene processed and their bodies removed.

The Rio Bueno police are investigating.
