The blood-letting in the Second City continued yesterday evening with the brazen murder of a 37-year-old man.

Roy Smith, who is from Lamey Lane, Salt Spring, St James, was shot dead by gunmen on Charley Lane in the same community.

Reports are that about 5 p.m., Smith was among a group of persons standing at a shop when they were approached by two masked men. It is reported that the men held on to Smith who was shot during the ensuing struggle. He was pronounced dead at hospital.

The Montego Bay CIB is investigating.
