Man killed in domestic dispute

A 34-year-old man was stabbed to death during a domestic dispute with his 18-year-old girlfriend at his home at Upper King Street in Montego Bay, St. James yesterday morning.

Police identified the dead man as Jermaine Campbell otherwise called 'Bomber'.

Information received by the CCN is that about 11 a.m., Campbell and his girlfriend were at home when an argument developed between them.

The police said the dispute escalated and a knife was brought into play. The knife, the police said, was used to stab the man. He was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Following initial investigations, the girlfriend was taken into police custody. Up to late yesterday, she had not been charged.

The Montego Bay CIB is investigating.
