The family of Camona Orgille has only one wish this Christmas: It is for its beloved child, who has been missing for three years, to return home, even for a visit.

Orgille has been missing for over three years, yet there is no closure for the family who is still hopeful that she is alive. "People keep saying they have seen her between Mountain View and Windward Road area," Joan Massop, a family member told THE STAR.

She said the family is appealing to her to come and visit with them so they can see and know that she is okay. "You can come and go back. We just want to know say you still alive," she pleaded.

Massop said Orgille's disappearance has had a serious impact on the family, particularly the child's father, who has been in and out of hospital ever since. To make matters worse, last year, the child's brother, to whom she is closest, died in a car accident.

The Mavis Bank police are still investigating Orgille's disappearance, but still need more information.

The 13-year-old went missing while walking home from school on October 11, 2006. A family member with whom she was talking via cellular phone said Orgille screamed and then the phone went dead. Efforts afterwards to contact her were unsuccessful, and although the police rushed to the scene immediately, no trace of Camona was found.

The family, in a desperate attempt to find her, is offering a reward of $100,000 for her return, or information which could lead to her return. Anyone who has seen Orgille or who can assist them in finding her is encouraged to call the family or the police at 427-2680, 569-8133, 977-8004 or 119.
