COURT CASE TURNS ON MAN ❒ Went as plaintiff, becomes an accused

Howard Maxwell, a complainant in a simply larceny case in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court, had the tables turn on him when he was charged with carnal abuse stemming from the same matter.

Maxwell, 31, brought his 18-year-old babymother, Sheena Walcott, to court for stealing $25,000 from him. At the end of the case, the court ordered that Walcott pay back Maxwell all of the money.

However, the court was suspicious about Walcott's age and checks were made. The court then found out that she recently turned 18 and that her child was one year and 10 months old.

Maxwell was later arrested and charged with carnal abuse since he got Walcott pregnant before she was 16 years old. He was immediately taken into custody. He will return to court later this month.

Walcott was given a one-year probation for her actions and told to refund the money.
