Sheba Davis, the 23-year-old woman charged with involuntary manslaughter after the death of her two children who were burnt to death when they were left alone, is to return to court in January as the post-mortem report in the matter is still not ready. The accused is from Majesty Gardens, Kingston 11. The allegations are that on August 6 about 8:30 p.m., the accused left her children, ages four and five, at home and went on an errand. The children were left unattended. During that time, a fire broke out at the house and the children burnt to death. The house and its contents were also destroyed. Police say the children were burnt beyond recognition. Davis is to return to court on January 28, 2010. |
