Men charged for stealing BlackBerry

Two men accused of robbing a man of his chain, a ring and a $25,000 BlackBerry on a bus, appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Charged with robbery with aggravation are Denton Elizur and Fabian McIntosh, both of Kingston 12.

Allegations say on October 29, the complainant was on a bus travelling towards Spanish Town. When the bus got to the Trench Town Fire Station, two men brandished guns and robbed the complainant of the items. The men ran into Rema.

A police team on patrol was informed. The complainant joined them and they went in search of the men. The accused were reportedly spotted near the Boys Town football field and searched and the items found with them. They were subsequently charged. They return to court November 25.
