Gunmen shoots six, two dead |

|
Gunmen killed two women and injured four other people, in two separate incident in Kingston and St Mary on Saturday night, police said. In the first incident, Paulette Coffe-Walton, 50, was killed and 49-year-old man and a 12-year-old student were injured at Nelson Street, Jones Town, Kingston 12. Reports received by the CCN are that about 8:30 p.m., the three were at home when four men armed with guns entered and opened fire hitting them. Mrs Walton died on the spot. The police were called and the other two taken to hospital where they were admitted in serious but a stable condition. The Denham Town Police are investigating. In the other incident at Juno Pen, Enfield district, St Mary, Sharon Martin-Watson, 37, was killed while two men aged 44 and 52, of Juno Pen, were injured. Police reported that about 10:15 p.m., the three were standing on the road when two men appeared out of nearby bushes. The men who were armed with guns opened fire hitting them. They were taken to hospital where Mrs Watson was pronounced dead and the men treated. The Annotto Bay police are investigating. |
