DNA test for bodies

The Area One police say they are awaiting the results of DNA tests to determine if two bodies found are those of missing Montego Bay, St James, couple, Thomas and Marjoke Chambers.

The bodies were found in Flamingo, Trelawny, yesterday.

According to reports, the bodies were found with the hands bound.

Thomas, 63, and his 61-year-old wife were reported missing on June 12 after they were said to be seen leaving their home in Spot Valley home, Montego Bay, earlier that day.

Thomas is a former president of the St James Cricket Association and a real estate developer. He is a well-known figure in the Montego Bay business community and represented the People's National Party during the last local government election in the Salt Spring division.

His wife has taught physical education at several schools across Jamaica and is a former coach of the national hockey team.
