A scoutmaster accused of molesting a 12-year-old boy scout at a camp was granted $50,000 bail with surety when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Kevin Pinnock, who is facing a charge of indecent assault, was also ordered to return to court on January 15 by Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown.

Allegations are that Pinnock, who was an elder at the camp, took the complainant into a room. It is alleged that the boy's pants was pulled down and his penis fondled.

A report was made to the police and Pinnock was arrested and charged.
