Season Three of Dancin' Dynamites will soon be on your television screens. Jamaicans, be prepared to see your favourite dance pairs from your parish 'bring it' live.
Studio shows will begin on February 15 and persons will be allowed to vote for their favourite dancers using their LIME phones.
The competition promises to 'bring it' this year as the organisers have vowed that they will include more of the dancehall culture.
The competition will see 12 dance groups vying for more than $2 million in cash and prizes. Following four audition shows, four elimination shows, seven road shows and eight studio shows, only one dance pair will claim the grand prize at the finale.
Club hopping
When the STAR spoke with the series producer, Sutania Williams, she was excited about this year's competition.
"I am really happy about this year. a lot of things have changed. Along with Orville Hall, leader of Dance Xpressions, we now have a new judge, Shelly Column, a member of Dance Xpressions and we have a new title sponsor, Red Label Wine," she said.
Other sponsors include Burger King, Coca-Cola, Holiday, LIME, Singer, TVJ and The STAR. Williams added that in this season, the organisers will do club hopping instead of school hopping, since the competition is more of a dancehall nature. "We also incorporated many of the dancers such as John Hype and Hypa active Dancers."
And on that note, Williams gave condolences to the family of slain dancer, Ice, saying that he was scheduled to appear on the shows. "I would like to say that we at Dancin' Dynamites regret his passing and we offer our condolences to his family," she said.
Fans of Dancin' Dynamites can look for the difference in this year's competition and they will have the final say in who will win, as only their votes will crown that dance pair.
