Mavado was recently invited to the wedding of Melky Jean, sister of Wyclef, and her husband, Supreme.

The lavish affair was held at an exclusive resort in South Florida this past weekend and was a wonderful occasion.

So special

Mavado and Clef have been friends for a few years, with Clef often referring to Mavado as his brother. They have recorded several tracks together and will continue to do so in the near future. Mavado is Melky's favourite artiste and all insisted he attend the wedding as a 'so special' guest.

Melky is an artiste in her own right, as well as a Grammy-nominated songwriter.

Mavado went on to give great performances at two sold-out shows in Orlando and Tampa the same weekend.

With BET clamouring for the video to Mavado's Billboard smash, So Special, it is slated to premiere as the new joint on 106 & Park soon.

Mavado also has a promotional appearance in Manhattan this month alongside Hot 97's iconic disc jockey, Funkmaster Flex.
