16-month-old killed in freak accident

A 16-month-old baby boy died as a result of injuries he sustained in a freak accident at his home at Lowe River district, Trelawny yesterday afternoon.

Dead is Damaine Forrester.

Reports are that about 1:30 p.m., little Damaine was at home with his mother when he apparently wandered off into the yard. A blue Toyota Starlet motor car registered 8652 ET which was parked in the yard reportedly rolled away. The vehicle hit the infant and pinned him against the wall of the verandah. He sustained severe injuries and was taken to the Percy Junor Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Wait-A-Bit Police are investigating.
