Two teenagers were shot, one fatally by a gunman while standing at friend's gate in Sandy Bay, Hanover, on Monday night.

The dead teen has been identified as Janoy Davidson, 17, otherwise called Johnny, while injured is an 18-year-old, both of Montpelier district in the parish. Police reports are that about 9:05 p.m. the teens went to visit a friend in Sandy Bay. While standing outside the friend's house, they were approached by a man who opened fire hitting them.

They were taken to hospital where Davidson died while being treated and the other person admitted in stable condition. The Sandy Bay police are investigating.
