With a crowd as big as that seen at Jamworld, in Portmore for Sting on Friday night, it is expected that there would have be some glitches.
Head of Sting security, Reneto Adams, at the end of the show said the show was safe but there were some mishaps.
"The whole management of the event was overwhelmingly good; everything went as planned. There were a few mishaps but with a crowd like this, obviously there will be a few minor problems. Nothing happened here tonight that wouldn't happen at a church rally with the same number of people," he told The STAR on Saturday.
Some stampedes
During the show, there were some stampedes. In addition, there was evidence of tension between Mavado and Vybz Kartel supporters.
Leighton Wright, who is in charge of security at Supreme Promotions, confirmed Adams' report.
"I was there all night and nothing was brought to my attention," he said.
Wright said he had no knowledge of any knives, guns or other weapons being confiscated at the venue.
