Greater Portmore win 1-0 against Daytona United

Greater Portmore waited until very late but they were able to come out 1-0 winners over a struggling Daytona United in a E-Services Group International-sponsored Portmore Division two match at the Greater Portmore playing field on Sunday.

Naija Beecher scored the all-important goal, a header in the five minutes from time, leaping above his marker to nod home past Racing's goalie Edward Scarlette.

In other games, Wanderers whipped Portmore Pines 3-0, Daytona Football Club edged Caymanas Gardens Site D 1-0, Watson Grove drew 1-1 with Braeton United and there was an identical 1-1 draw between Christian Pen and Garveymeade.

The competition now goes on a Christmas break and resumes in January.
