Despite getting off to a late start, the end result for Tease was great for the promoters and the patrons who enjoyed the vibe in the latter part of the session.
"Well, it turned out great. To me it's one of the best party for the Christmas, I fully enjoyed myself tonight," Richard, one of the promoters, told The STAR.
At one point, the selectors from Bloodline desperately tried to build a vibe, the energy level was just not budging in the least.
As Buju Banton's Champion echoed through the almost empty venue, the four corners of the Truck Stop were used as a socialising corners.
Most patrons were sipping on the exotic drink mixes or sampling the jerked chicken and pork provided. Others just stood or sat in a corner.
Those who arrived early were treated to some hip-hop music, including Ja Rule's New York and Fat Joe's Lean Back.
With Spragga Benz's Run Things and Busy Signal's Step Out creating the first buzz of the night, the vibes later fizzled.
It took what was a So Special moment from Mavado to Overcome the boredom that was lurking around.
A vibe started to build and some patrons got wild, while others couldn't bother.
The selectors continued to tease with some dancehall mixes which include, Erup's Click My Finger and Harry Toddler's Don't Run Een.
More persons came in the later hours.
With a large, almost tipsy crowd, ZJ Liquid, Jazzy T, the special guest, and Miami-based Bambino, the task was to get most persons involved in the proceedings.
This was masterfully done, as TI, Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, Jay-Z and The Game commanded the crowd.
For the rest of the night, the turntables were rotated between the three selectors. This proved to be a good move as it was three times the 'daggering', as the three rocked the once motionless crowd.
"The vibe is just great, the crowd is a diverse one, and most people seem to be enjoying themselves. I know that I am enjoying my time here," said Audrey Roy a patron.
Adding some dubs to the mix helped in propelling and maintaining the vibe in the venue.
After going way beyond the scheduled 12 pm lock off time, curtains were brought down on the venue, with the selectors making special reference to Bounty Killer, Shaggy, Elephant Man and Round Head and other members of the dancehall fraternity who were in attendance.
The two partied at the Tease party, held at the Truck Stop, West Kings House Road, last Sunday.
The women were special attractions at the party.
