Corporal Leslie 'Steve' Moodie, the Jamaica Defence Force soldier accused of killing four people at a nightclub, was denied bail when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court.
Moodie appeared on Friday where Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown ordered him remanded.
Moodie, 21, is implicated in the deaths of four men during an incident at the Double Diamond Gaming Lounge, Washington Boulevard, on October 20. He faces four counts of murder for the deaths of Ejon Peart, 20, sound system operator of Greendale Drive, Kingston 19; Davian 'Don P' Kerr, 19; and Lynchmore Forbes, 24, both of Pembroke Hall; and William Wilberforce, 28, of Duhaney Drive, Kingston 20.

Three men, ages 65, 26 and 20, and Moodie were also injured in the incident.
Allegations are that at 4:15 a.m., the eight were at the club, where Moodie and a female were allegedly having a conversation and the men intervened. Shortly after, shots were heard. It was later discovered that they were shot. Peart, Kerr and Wilberforce died on the spot. Forbes later succumbed to his injuries.
The court was told when the matter was mentioned that the crown was awaiting the ballistics and medical report. A mention date of January 19 was set for the matter.
