The Esor Dance Ensemble will be staging its inaugural gala performance at the Ward Theatre on December 20 and 21, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
The Ensemble, which is directed by Miss Sandra Rose, was formed in 2004 for the purpose of entering the World Championship for the performing arts competition held in Los Angeles, California each year. That same year saw the Ensemble winning the World Championship trophy for the Junior category.
Gold and silver medals
In 2006, they again entered, and walked away with a number of gold and silver medals, after competing against over 50 countries, including the United States.
Rose currently runs her dance studio at Mona Preparatory School, where she teaches, and has students ranging from age 6-16. Most of her students are present and past students of this institution, and each year, Mona Prep, under her tutelage, is awarded gold medals at the JCDC festival competition.
