Blame-thrower

Dear Pastor,

I look forward every day to reading your columns. I would like to comment on one of the letters I read which was published on November 25, 2008: "Where are the morals in our young women?" A lady wrote stating that married men are attracted to single women who keep throwing themselves at them. She also assumed that was how HIV/AIDS is spread. How could she say that?

Additionally, where are the married men with morals and respect for their vows? If single women "throw" themselves at them, they don't have to "catch" them, especially if they are committed to their wives and families and mindful of the vows they made to God and man. She should remember that it's the married men who are bringing the diseases home and also that married men aren't the only ones who cheat.

Dear K.M.,

Well said.
