Gospel artiste Chevelle Franklyn will be performing at 'The Experience', which will be held in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 5.
The concert, which is in its third staging, will feature several other top gospel artistes including Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Mary Mary, Kurt Carr, Tye Tribbett and Bishop Noel Jones.
It will also feature other
reputable ministers of the gospel such as Bishop TD Jakes, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Bishop David Oyedepo and apostle Anselm Madubuko.
Franklyn will be sharing this experience with Jamaicans as she will be filming a feature for Jamaica TV.
But, she has other things on her agenda.
In 2007 Franklyn produced a 13-track compilation album featuring South Africa's leading worship leaders, for which she did vocals on four tracks. Kill My Flesh was one of the most popular tracks on the project.
New album
Despite her touring schedule, Franklyn found the time for her album which will be released next year. One of the tracks being used to promote the album is So In Love with You.
"What's different about this album is that it contains more of the personal word that the Lord has given me. It has a prophetic voice and when the listeners hear it, they will begin to see divine manifestations. If they receive it by faith, it will bring them out, just like how it brought me out," said Chevelle Franklyn who has been to other countries in Africa including Kenya, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa.
