Crazy in love

Dear Pastor,

I have always read your column and found it interesting. I want you to keep up the good work.

Pastor, I have a boyfriend who always accuses me of cheating. He is so crazy in love that he doesn't like to see me talking to other men. To be honest, I love this guy and he loves me too. He always tells me that he doesn't want me to cheat on him. We have one child together and he has another child with another woman. He is 28 years old and I am 21. He tells me everyday that he loves me and wants us to get married. The only thing is, he's always accusing me of cheating on him. He works, but I don't.

Pastor, please tell me what to do - should we keep up the relationship or should I leave?

K.G., St. Andrew, Jamaica

Dear K.G.,

Tell this young man that if he does not stop accusing you of cheating, you will be forced to end the relationship with him. He needs to grow up. It is never wise for a man to constantly tell a woman that she is cheating, when she isn't. She might be tempted to do it as she might say that she is not bearing the bad name for nothing.

I could never encourage you to continue to have a relationship with this man. He is silly and immature and you will not be comfortable even if you marry him. He would always doubt you. And he may want to prevent you from going out alone, because the truth is, he doesn't trust you.

Pastor
