I am a 29-year-old female who lives overseas. I am also a married woman who is separated from her husband. My life got turned upside down shortly after we got married. Everything was fine at first, but after a while he became abusive and started calling me names. We have a child together, but broke up before the baby was born. He allowed his family to interfere in our lives. Each time we argued his family would get involved and tell him what to do. He is a married man who should not have let his family interfere with our lives.

He started cheating on me. Shortly afterwards he moved out and moved in with a girl I knew. He was very disrespectful to me. He has never been there for our child.

We don't speak anymore and I hate him. I did not want to marry him; I wanted to wait but he convinced me, saying he was ready. I am so stressed out by my situation. We tried to work things out a month before we broke up, but it did not help.

You hate your husband, you feel as if he tricked you into the situation you are now in and your life is miserable. This man does not show any interest in his child and he is living with another woman, therefore, what you should consider doing now is legally severing this union and trying to build a better life for your child and yourself.

By the way, you must see to it that he supports his child. It could mean that you may have to take him to court for child support.
