Dear Pastor,
I have been involved with a man for over a year, on and off. Everything was going well until he became involved with an under-age high school girl. I figured something was wrong. After questioning him, he confessed he was with this young girl.
Feeling used, I ended the relationship and tried my best to move on. A few weeks after he broke up with the young girl, he asked me for another chance. Unfortunately, and despite my misgivings, I gave in.
Pastor, he lies about everything and flirts a lot. He picks up women like a garbage truck picking up garbage. He is secretive about his phone and everything else. We are no longer together because of the same thing. He said he loves me, but claims he can't keep to himself.
What should I do?
K.D., St James, Jamaica
Dear K.D.,
Do what you have been doing - keep on keeping on. This man is not a good man.
Any man who can engage an underage child in a sexual act is not worth keeping or knowing. He flirts, he's secretive, he lies a lot, what would you be doing with him?
Pastor
