A 28-year-old fisherman was fatally shot by unknown assailants at his home at the Port Henderson fishing village, on Wednesday night.

Dead is Bruce Rankin otherwise called 'Rusty'.

Reports from the CCN are that about 11:10 p.m., Rankin was at home when gunmen entered and opened fire, hitting him several times.

The police were called and he was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
