Concluding a five-parish tour of clean sound clashes, the Guinness Sounds of Greatness competition will make its final stop at Mas Camp in Kingston, this Saturday for what is expected to be the fiercest contest yet.

Finalists Bodyguard and Rebel T are both unbeaten and have no intention of relinquishing the crown without putting up resistance.

The 'Ladies free' event has a big ticket prize pay out of $250,000 to the winner in addition to the $70,000 appearance fee. Men will pay $300 without invitation.

With loads of cash and prizes up for grabs, the event promises lots of excitement, plus great Guinness bucket deals.

Turbo Crown and Area Code will be on hand to deliver some of the hottest tunes on the dancehall scene at intervals during the event.

Both Bodyguard and Rebel T are gearing up for what is anticipated to be one of the most competitive clashes in the history of the competition.

Non-stop music

Resulting from a coin toss held recently, Bodyguard will take the stage first after which Rebel T will deliver non-stop music throughout the three sections of the competition: juggling, tune fi tune and dub fi dub.

"We a go play first and we a go come first," declared Bodyguard selector Junior Vybz at the coin toss.

Judging from the confidence of Rebel T, Bodyguard will have to pull out all the stops if they intend to make this prediction a reality.

"Just come fi bare niceness," was Mad Ras's response.

Showtime is at 8:00 p.m. The Guinness Sounds of Greatness competition is in its first year and promotes a lyrically-clean sound clash.
