Two Insports officials were shot and injured after gunmen opened fire at their car at the intersection of Tom Redcam and Arthur Wint drives yesterday.

Insports is the organisation responsible for the organisation and development of sports at the community level.

Police say about 1:10 p.m., the men were travelling in a motor vehicle, when they came to the above mentioned intersection. A car drove up beside them and a man alighted. The men attempted to drive off but crashed into a nearby fence. Their attacker used the opportunity to open fire at them.

Both were taken to hospital where one was admitted in serious but stable condition and the other treated and admitted. The Stadium police are investigating.
