Fear of visiting

Dear Pastor,

I agree with the person, who wrote about the fear of going to Jamaica on vacation or returning there to live. If they can kill citizens, what would they do to the ones returning on vacation? The Government does not have money enough to protect everyone.

We love our country and we want to come home, but we are so afraid of what may happen when we return. It is a shame that we have to become prisoners in America because of the crime situation at home.

D.G., Florida, USA

Dear D.G.,

You don't have to be a prisoner anywhere. Crime takes place in Jamaica and America where you are. We see the news on cable television that crime is rampant in Florida. We hate to think that our people are suffering there as well. But, we will not condemn the police, the governor or anyone who is in authority for doing little about controlling crime.

Join us in doing everything possible to bring crime under control in Jamaica. Feel free to come to Jamaica at anytime. Don't let your fear of crime stop you from visiting.

Pastor
