Marco-Dean celebrates in style

Marco-Dean

Guests and visitors at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston could not help but notice the excitement as it unfolded on Sunday as D'Angel's BMW X5 rolled up to the main entrance and she emerged with young Marco-Dean.

It was Marco-Dean's second birthday party and cameramen from various media houses swarmed the vehicle to capture the birthday boy's arrival. Decked from head to toe in Armani Jr. He was flanked by his mother Michelle 'D'Angel' Downer and father Moses 'Beenie Man' Davis (who had arrived a few minutes earlier).

Marco-Dean was then led to the area behind the pool, where his birthday party was being staged, and was immediately set to sit in his present, a miniature Escalade truck. There were pictures, more pictures and then some more pictures, as D'Angel and Beenie Man guided the youngster, who appeared to be very shy, and thus hesitant to stay in his new truck by himself.

The birthday boy later changed outfit, sporting Polo by Ralph Lauren, again, clad from head to toe, before making a final wardrobe change into an Italian cream suit to cut his birthday cake.

Mom, D'Angel told THE STAR, "I love fashion, so there is no other way to go, so he's definitely going to be a fashionable boy. I give him only the best, I don't put a price on anything that I do for my son."

While Beenie Man dropped some free style for Marco Dean, singing 'I will never separate my love... from yuh born yuh a star' the crowd gathered around the cake to try to get a glimpse of the action.

Well-wishers

The 'doctor' then assumed emcee duties and regulated the toasts bestowed on Marco-Dean from family, friends and other well-wishers. Marco Dean's mom, D'Angel also sang her own version of 'happy birthday' for him.

A number of entertainers also attended. Among those spotted by THE STAR were Voicemail, Goddy Goddy, Ryan Mark, Chi Ching Ching, Pretty Boy Floyd, Natalie Storm, Tifa, Timberlee, Richie Feelings, the Sherlock Family, designer Neah Lis, Stone Love selector Diamond and others.

Even by nightfall when many made their way to the exit, kids were still busy running around, playing and having a ball as they enjoyed the bounce-a-bout, slides, merry-go-round, clowns, magicians and other attractions.
