Pregnant 16-y-o on firearm charge

A pregnant 16-year-old was formally charged by the Old Harbour police in St Catherine with breaches of the Firearms Act.

According to police reports, the teenager was found at a house in Lloyd's Pen in the parish when the police raided the premises and found an illegal weapon.

A man, Christopher 'Flash' Gordon, 23, was also found at the premises.

Jointly charged

Both were jointly charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, while Gordon was slapped with an additional carnal abuse charge.

Both are booked to appear in court later this week.
