Dear Pastor,
I am a female of a prominent high school who just turned 17 this year. I have been dating a guy for almost three months now; he just turned 20. I sat seven CXCs and I was successful in six. I am still a virgin. My boyfriend is really nice to me and he does not even pressure me for sex. I explained all that to him and that I do not want the responsibilities that come along with that. Although he is a guy who is older and sexually active, he understands. But the problem is that we live very far from each other and I do not get to see him as often as I would have liked. I also think that he is the one that I would want to take my virginity (not right now though), but I don't want to give it to the wrong person.
How do I know who is the right person? Pastor, please treat me as an adult who writes to you and not as a child.

Dear G.G.,
You have done very well in your CXCs, congratulations. I trust that you will press towards your goal, etc.
Try and remain a virgin until you get married. That would be a nice gift to give to your husband. Your boyfriend is sexually active. That is what you say. Therefore, you are just one of his girls. Why then would you consider him to take your virginity? That doesn't make sense.
Keep yourself pure. Serve the Lord. If you do, He will provide you with a good husband when the time is right.
Pastor
