15-year-old wins Etana's essay competition

Congratulations to 15-year-old Shanice Robinson who has won a trip to The Bahamas as part of the promotions from September's Star of the Month feature with Etana.

Here is Shanice's winning letter discussing a possible solution to Jamaica's crime:

I think the Government should try and diminish all the corruption going on in the political parties and the various departments of the police system. Because of the corruption, a lot of criminals get away with a lot of crimes. The government must therefore put up video cameras in various places of organisation where members of parliament meet and can/may install such cameras in police stations as well.

I think that the crime rate will decrease if the Government build up factories so that people who has left learning institutions and still hasn't gained knowledge can occupy their time instead of looking to crime. A lot of things can/may be done to prevent these heinous crimes in sweet Jamrock.

Could Shanice Robinson contact Solid Agency at 755-4042 or 969-1119 as soon as possible.
