Mr Easy - File
Veteran dancehall artiste Ian Dyer, more popularly known as Mr Easy, recently completed his second Caribbean and United States tour in as many months.
The singer, who is currently off the island on personal business, two weeks ago contracted the services of acclaimed music video director Nordia Rose. She was given the task to conceptualise the video for his hot new single Screw Pon Face on Steven McGregor's Day Rave rhythm.
Set to premiere
The video is set to premiere this Friday on Entertainment Report (on TVJ) and is expected to hit all the major cable stations and the Internet after its official release.
Mr Easy says, "This is one of my best videos yet, and the people are going to love it.
A bit more substance
"The quality is very high and will not be another one of those hoochie videos that we have come to expect in dancehall. But instead something with a bit more substance for all to enjoy as we forge forward for the greater good of the music," he said.
Mr Easy said the video was shot on location at Calalloo Bed, off Spanish Town Road, in Port Royal and throughout the thoroughfares of Kingston and St Andrew to give it that rustic yet urban feel.
