St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) will look to remain ahead of a rapidly closing Kingston College (KC) when they host Edith Dalton James in a tightly contested Group F of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup today, starting at 3:30 p.m.
STATHS are on 16 points. They lead KC by one point, having beaten the North Street team earlier this season.
However, STATHS' surprising 1-1 draw with Penwood last week has seen KC narrow the gap and could go to the top of the group with a win over a struggling Kingston High today.
Kingston High, who scored their first win of the season against Edith Dalton last week, will be looking to improve on their first-leg performance against KC, which saw them beaten 9-0.
In the group's other game, St Catherine will tackle Penwood, the team closest to the leaders but still a good way off the pace on seven points.
Wolmer's will also be looking to hang on to their place at the top of the table in Group C when they travel to Mona. Jamaica College, who are on 14 points, tied with Wolmer's but a goal behind in the goal difference column, will travel to Denham Town. Both Wolmer's and JC had huge wins over their opponents when the teams met in the first-leg games.
Jonathan Grant, who began the season on a promising note, have fallen off in their last couple of results, but could stay within striking distance with a win over Vauxhall at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex.
In Group D, unbeaten Bridge-port, on 16 points, will also look to hold on to pole position when they host St Jago. Behind their St Catherine counterparts by two points, Eltham will look to stay in touching distance when they host Cumberland.
