Boy dies in hit-and-run

Thirteen-year-old Everton Hartley was killed and his 14-year-old brother hospitalised after they were hit from their bicycle by a motor car, on the Vernamfield main road in Clarendon last Saturday, police told THE STAR.

According to police reports, about 7 p.m., the brothers were riding along the road, when they were hit from behind by a motor car, which sped off.

Police say the the brothers were taken to hospital where Everton died and his brother was admitted in serious condition.

The May Pen Traffic Depart-ment, say they are trying to identify the vehicle and driver involved in the accident.
