No motive for fatal shootings

Gunmen wreaked havoc in Western Park, Clarendon, on Thursday night, as they shot five persons, two fatally, at a shop in the community.

Dead are 32-year-old Gilbert Christian, also known as 'Gillie', and Mark McKenzie, 33, both of Clarendon addresses.

According to police reports, a group of persons was watching television inside of the shop about 8 p.m. when armed thugs entered and opened fire, hitting the five persons. Christian and McKenzie died on the spot while the other three persons were taken to hospital.

The police say they are yet to establish a motive for the killings.
