Losing her sexual mojo

Dear Pastor,

I am a 31 years old and I have been with my boyfriend for three years. We have a 20 month old son.

I love him with all my heart and I hope to marry him soon. The problem that I am having is that I am not as sexually turned on as before.

I think it might be a result of the oral contraceptive that I am currently taking. I know it is frustrating him and I don't want to lose him because he is a good man.

K.B., Ontario, Canada

Dear K.B.,

I suggest that you talk to your family doctor about your concerns. Tell him how you are feeling. I would be surprise if oral contraceptive has such an effect on sex life.

It is not unusual for women who recently had a child to suffer from what doctors call Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD). Lack of sexual desire may also be caused from being abused, diabetes, prescribed drugs, anxiety, etc. So I urge you to see a doctor soon.

Pastor
