I am a 23-year-old woman who is living in the United States. I am getting married in Jamaica later this year to the absolute love of my life. My mother filed for me after we met and dated for just five months. It was heart breaking to leave him, but I had no choice. We promised each other that we could always keep in touch and that we did. After our first year apart and constant phone calls to each other, he asked me to marry him and I told him yes.
