More than a year after Dwayne Miller was brought before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for being part of a mob that killed a man, the post -mortem report is still not ready.
Miller's matter came up for mention before Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown on Wednesday. The crown said it were still awaiting the post-mortem report and asked for a further mention date, which was set for November 25.
Allegations against Miller are that on June 5, 2007, a man accused of stealing a woman's handbag was chased and stabbed to death along Bradley and Cargill avenues in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew.
Miller, the court also heard, was seen with a knife. He is alleged to have called his girlfriend within earshot of others and said, "Mi jus' kill a bwoy. Yu si how yu mash up mi life. If yu nuh believe mi, ask (name of witness)."
It is further alleged that the witness confirmed Miller's claims and told the girlfriend, "Di bwoy jus' grab a woman bag and dem kill him wicked, wicked. A di one whe 'im get inna him back sen im off."
Miller, who is now on bail, had it extended until the next mention date.
