Businessman killed

Byron McDaniel, Star Writer

As gun murders continue to escalate in the traditionally peaceful mid-island parish of Manchester a businessman has become the latest victim.

Dead is Calvin 'Froggy' Richards, 44, from Davyton in the parish, who operated a wholesale store in that community.

According to reports, Richards was last seen alive about 10:45 p.m.Saturday night when he closed his business place.

The report further added that Richards' body was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds about 2:30 a.m. yesterday, in his girlfriend's room in Comfort District nearby.

The police meanwhile do not suspect robbery as a motive as a large sum of money as well as his personal jewellery was found on his body.
