Local-based members of Jamaica's successful Olympic squad will return to the island tonight.

Bobbie-Gaye Wilkins, who ran on the women's 4x400m team in the heats, long jumper Herbert McGregor and Olivia McKoy, who competed in the javelin, are the athletes confirmed to arrive at the Norman Manley International Airport at 7:30 p.m.

Most of the members of the management team are also scheduled to arrive.

The bulk of Jamaica's team, triple Olympic gold medallist and world-record holder, Usain Bolt, 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser, Sherone Simpson, Asafa Powell, Michael Frater and Nesta Carter are scheduled to travel to Europe for post-Olympic meets.

Jamaica ended a successful Olympic Games on Saturday night, winning six gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
