A man, who left his firearm in his vehicle, resulting in it being stolen, will be sentenced for the offence next week.
Cyril Bridge pleaded guilty to negligent loss of a firearm when the matter was mentioned in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Bridge allegedly left the firearm in a pouch under the front of the passenger seat of his jeep and went to a brunch. When he returned, the car window had been smashed and the gun was missing from the pouch.
Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown has set a sentence date for August 18.
