cops swarm stage
At 6:10 a.m. on Thursday, when Beenie Man took the stage with the venue still jam-packed, a contingent of police officers swarmed the backstage area. Five minutes into his performance, a senior police personnel approached Beenie Man onstage to claim the microphone. The artiste begged for a few more minutes while the crowd pleaded for the
performance to continue.
However, the police eventually pulled the plug to end Beenie Man's performance. Everyone left the venue very disappointed, not seeing a full performance from Beenie Man, although they were treated with a very entertaining line-up.
