Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) have leapfrogged Jamaica's Reggae Boyz as the highest ranked English-speaking Caribbean team in the CONCACAF region.
In the latest FIFA rankings released Wednesday, T&T jumped 10 places in the overall world rankings to be eighth in CONCACAF and 92nd in the world.
The new rankings come after T&T had plunged to their lowest ever FIFA ranking (102) in the July release, when they fell 15 places in the world.
Their elevation comes on the back of a hat-trick of successes in July when they scored 2-0 wins over Haiti, Antigua & Barbuda and Guyana.
Jamaica, previously ranked ninth in CONCACAF, are now positioned at 11th in the region after falling 14 places overall to be 108th in the world.
It is the Reggae Boyz's lowest ever ranking in the FIFA standings, coming on the back of limited international activity. Their single outing in July saw them draw nil-all with El Salvador.
Guyana, meanwhile, have jumped three places to 12th and have moved four places, overall, to 118th in the world, while Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados and Grenada have all move three places overall, to be 16th, 17th and 18th in CONCACAF respectively.
The United States have remained the top ranked team in CONCACAF, and Mexico continue to shadow them in second, despite falling 13 places in the world.
Euro 2008 champions Spain also remain number one in the world with Germany replacing Italy in second place. The Italians have slipped to third.
