Dear Pastor,
I met a wonderful guy about two years ago. About the same time my 18-year marriage was falling apart. I have since left my husband and began a relationship with the guy. The problem is I am 36 he is 24. Most times I have a problem with the age difference. He however handles it quite well and so does every member of his family. I fear what my family will think. So, consequently, I have kept him away from my family. I love this guy and he loves me beyond words. He wants a serious relationship but the main problem is the age for me and the biggest one is he wants us to have at least one child together and I already have three children. This guy is ambitious and has a good job so it's not like he is looking for money from me. He does any and everything for me.
Pastor, is age really that much of a factor? Also is it true that pregnancy gets more difficult and risky at 40 and beyond?

Dear S.S.,
It is silly to be concerned about age now. You should have considered that when you first met him and decided to have an intimate relationship with him.
It is not anybody's business if at your age you wish to be going with a kid, it is up to you.
Yes, age must be considered when people are going into a relationship. But no one should stand in the couple's way. Speak to a medical doctor about pregnancy.
