Dear Pastor,
I have a problem. I am in love with a man, who, at first, was a sweetheart. All of a sudden, he started to change. I have dealt with verbal abuse and him cheating with a lot of women, who try to fight me. He tells me I can't leave him and he won't let me. I am scared. I don't know what has happened. I feel like I am trapped in this situation and can't get out. He knows where all my family members and friends live, so there is nowhere for me to go.
Invested too much
We got into a fight and he told me he has invested too much to let me leave like that. I mean I am thankful that he paid my way through school, helped to buy my car and got me everything I wanted, but that doesn't matter to me. All I ever wanted was him. Now I am dealing with his women calling me, and he is telling me how I can't leave him and what he would do to me.
Pastor, what am I to do?

Dear S.C.,
I suggest that you report this man's threats to the police. No threat should be taken lightly. Foolish men believe women will stay with them if they threaten them. However, wise women are always seeking a way to escape.
I suggest you seek the help of a lawyer if you do not want this man anymore in your life.
