Dear Pastor,
I want to commend you on the wonderful work you have been doing. I have a problem that I don't quite know how to handle. I left Jamaica six years ago, when I was 17 years old, to live in the United States. I started college and got a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant and sent my family money every week when I got paid.
Just feel used
I am now married. I bought a house and a car but still help them out whenever they ask, no matter what. Now I just feel that they are using me. A month sometimes passes and nobody calls me to see if I am alive, but when they want money they send a text message, or ask me to return the call because they don't have enough credit to talk.
Pastor, I love my family very much and I help them because I know how hard it was when I was living there, but I just feel that they are taking advantage of me. Please give me your advice.

Dear A.T.,
You don't have to say yes to every request. In fact, it is because you say yes all the times that they call on you frequently for help. You should say no sometimes. They should learn to help themselves.
