The sky's the limit for Cherine Anderson

Cherine Anderson. - Noel Thompson

Dancehall songstress, Cherine Anderson, has been selected as the cover model and feature for the 2008 issue of Air Jamaica's inflight magazine, Skywritings.

The magazine, which will be available on all Air Jamaica flights in July and August, features photos of Cherine, shot on location, throughout Kingston by photographer Martei Korley.

The magazine had originally approached Cherine, interested in doing an article on her hit song Kingston State of Mind, based on the impact of the song and the message involved.

The eight-page feature includes commentary on Cherine's music, life, love, and her latest business venture.

Anderson was honoured to have been selected to represent the music issue, and is in esteemed company. Former cover female artistes include Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Yolanda Adams, Angelique Kidjo and Erykah Badu.
